Redrawing Black History

In the past weeks I took the online course „Redrawing Black History“ with Tamisha Anthony and Lilla Rogers. I learned a lot about African Americans artists and also drew a lot of portraits.

Each week there was a focus on a certain era of Black American history: The Fight for Freedom: 19th century, The Jazz Era: 1920s and 30s, The Protest Era: 1940s and 50s and The Black is Beautiful movement: 1960s and 70s.
